Hoffa: Stop Outsourcing America's Security
The Defense Department weakened our national security when it recently gave a $35-billion contract to a European group for the creation of a new fleet of aerial-refueling aircraft, rejecting an offer from Chicago-based Boeing, the longtime supplier of the airplanes. Since this deal could swell to $100 billion, we are contributing in a major way to outsource our national security.

UPS Freight Workers Organizing Campaign Continues to Gain Momentum

More than 89 percent of UPS Freight workers who are already Teamster members ratified a new contract that improves wages, benefits and working conditions. In less than 48 hours later, workers at UPS Freight terminals in five states signed authorization cards, bringing the total number of drivers and dockworkers seeking to become Teamsters member to 10,000 since January 16.


DHL Express Ballots Mailed April 9
Voting materials were mailed to Teamsters covered under the new DHL National Master Agreement. We strongly suggest that members vote to endorse this new contract and return their ballots as soon as possible.
