Support of Anheuser-Busch
Workers
Hundreds of Teamsters and families
rallied August 16 in downtown St. Louis to show support for
Anheuser-Busch workers nationwide in the wake of the purchase of
the iconic American beer company by Belgium-based brewing giant
InBev.

Unions Asks Carhaul Members For
Feedback on Contract
Before carhaul contract negotiations resume, the
union’s negotiating committee is asking members to provide
feedback. The committee wants to know members’ concerns as
it prepares for the contract talks. The following letter was
mailed to carhaul members this week, and members are being asked
to relay their concerns to their stewards and local union
leaders.

investor Ripplewood Holdings and creditors to save Interstate
Bakeries Corporation (IBC) from liquidation and protect Teamster

A first contract covering more than 1,700 UPS
Freight drivers and
dockworkers nationwide has been ratified overwhelmingly by a
margin of 94 percent. The agreement improves wages, benefits and
working conditions, announced Teamsters General President Jim
Hoffa.
