The International works daily to protect our members and the labor movement in general by focusing on legislative priorities that will ensure workers receive those basic protections to which they're entitled - decent wages, good benefits, safety in the workplace, and the freedom to join a union.

The latest legislative update has been posted to the Teamsters website with information on our current legislative priorities - Employee Free Choice Act, the Express Carrier Employee Protection provision, and health care reform. You can get involved with helping us win on these issues as well. While in their home districts during the August Congressional recess, U.S. Representatives and Senators need to hear from their constituents on the issues that matter most to working families.
