Stop Union Busting at Neil Med
Greetings,
Right after workers at Neil Med's distribution facility
in Santa Rosa, California began their organizing efforts,
management terminated three of the most vocal union supporters.
As Neil Med profits, the company continues to subject workers
to the most deplorable working conditions. Some workers have
suffered heat strokes. They have limited or no access to
water and bathrooms. Some of them have worked Saturdays for
free, while others have been forced to clean the bosses house
and perform gardening duties.
These men and women are fighting for the things every
hardworking American deserves: a decent quality of life for
their families and dignity on the job. They are in urgent need
of support from the community. The workers are counting on your
help to protect their jobs and show Neil Med that our
community will not tolerate this harassment, intimidation and
unsafe working conditions.
Please contact the managers at Neil Med and tell
them to stop their union busting now.

Subject: Tell Neil Med to Stop Union Busting
Dear [decision maker name automatically inserted here],
I am writing to express my alarm and deep concern over recent reports that Neil Med is engaging in union busting. We are aware that you are using the services of "union buster" Mark Jordan. Instead of spending money "busting" the union, that money could go towards workers' wages or improving safety standards.
Employees who participate in labor organizing must have the right to do so without fear of intimidation, coercion or interference. Erosion of worker's rights in our community is no laughing matter. We are also gravely concerned about what we are hearing in regard to the working conditions at your Santa Rosa, California facility. We also demand you cease from denying workers their federally protected right to a democratic election and correct any abuses. You have an obligation to correct these abuses immediately. It is illegal to fire workers or refuse to reasonably accommodate workers in retaliation for union activity and we insist you remedy this situation immediately.
You will not slow these workers down. Their unity is stronger than ever. We are writing you to tell you we support these workers and do not tolerate union busting and the abuse of working people.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
